    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    To ensure we have a fully functional certification department that complies with recognised certification body's and customers standards. Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner in line with WEIR Oil & Gas Quality procedures and LEAN principles.

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    Including but not limited to:

     

    • To ensure both company & client certification requirements as met in full
    • To achieve 100% internal OTD & meet external OTD measures
    • All company KPI’s to be met
    • Ensure  compliance with all certification policies and procedures of the company
    • Process annual service paperwork for our own rental fleet iron for BV (including update in probity and filing records)
    • Entry into Probity of serial numbers issued from new into rental fleet, any 3rdparty sub-hires, and the issuing of relevant paperwork to correct departments
    • Process annual service paperwork for customer owned rental fleet iron (including issuing of final certificate & updating in Probity and filing records)
    • Process of treating iron disposal paperwork & records (ie, removal of scrap from Probity and subsequent reportage)
    • Process certification for Rental Load outs (from receipt of loadout, sorting of any discrepancy’s through to completion and issuing of final certification)
    • Process certification for Refurb Work Orders (from issuing of Workscopes to shopfloor, collation of test paperwork, through to completion and issuing of final certification)
    • Process of certification for Sales either from upload via SPM Globaltrack site, or using our own in-house method and templates
    • Miscellaneous collation and maintenance of various other certification, ie, containers, 3rd party rentals/purchases
    • Data cleanse of Probity& maintenance of rental fleet items both inhouse,quarantine & customer owned
    • Work with Certification Team Leader to find ways of improving the departments processes
    • Update and distribute weekly Rental OTD & Final defects log to all operations personnel
    • Provide holiday cover as required
    • Any other duties as required by Management

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

    • Experience maintaining certification systems
    • High level of discipline
    • Understanding of the importance of maintaining an unbroken link in the chain of traceability  from manufacture to disposal
    • Good literate skills
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office packages
