    Business Need / Purpose of Role

    Weir Minerals is looking for a Parts Manager - Comminution.

    Weir Minerals is a business area within the Weir Group and a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. The offering covers, wet process equipment and dry process equipment.


    This position will be part of the Comminution department and will report to the Regional Aftermarket Manager.


    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

    As the Parts Manager, you will promote sales directly to Customers, internally to our Account Managers and Sales Representatives, and to our dealers. You will be expected to drive robust sales by building and developing relationships with both existing and new customers in sales. A key function of your role will be to develop and maintain install based analytics to follow up the business to accomplish defined goals and objectives. Further, you will work close to the Engineering department, Product manager and Purchase department to line up the strategy of the localization of key components.


    Additionally, the Parts Manager will identify and target new customers and sales opportunities while achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly gross sales and margin targets.

    Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

    Besides possessing a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or business discipline, the Parts Manager must have 5 to 7 years’ industry related sales and service experience (mining and/or heavy construction). Will be highly beneficial for this position to have prior experience within Crushing and Screening sector.
