    To support the Programme Director in the development and execution of the ENAR Operations Strategy through the execution of key major programmes across the ENAR region (WME, NATCA and Russia).

    Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

     

    To support the 5-year growth and development of the ENAR region, we have taken several strategic steps over the last 18 months to grow our revenues and increase our presence in already existing markets and break into potential high growth areas. Key activity has included setting up the NATCA business within ENAR as well as the existing WME and Russian businesses. As part of this work we have developed our strategic roadmap for the region identifying a range of operational projects which, will support us achieving these targets across both OE and AM streams.

    Context

    The Role

     

    This Graduate Programme rotation will report to the Programme Director in scoping, planning and execution of these projects.

     

    Key accountabilities will include but not be restricted to;

     

    Project Management:

    Formation and development of focused project timelines, on-going management and tracking of progress against key strategic targets.

     

    Data Gathering and Analysis

    Supporting the development of robust plans using Top Down thinking to understand detailed activities to achieve major programme milestones. This should include being able to work across key internal (Divisional) and external (identified 3-party suppliers) stakeholders to understand priority activity.

     

    Risk and Dependency Management

    On-going tracking of key projects and management of cross project dependencies both within the region, across region and externally.

     

    Report Writing and Presentations

    Support the Programme Director writing and developing reports, preparing relevant programme capex documentation and presentations for audiences across the organisation.

     

     

     

    Stakeholder Management

    Ensure that key projects support the MD and Operational Director communities within the region and enable them to meet customer requirements.

     

    Others

    Support other Programmes / Projects as required.

    Core Competencies

    Education/Job experience

    ·         Good first degree

    ·         Thesis and/or additional second degree/professional qualification with a Supply Chain / Project Management focus beneficial

    ·         Relevant post degree experience, preferably including in a Weir Division

    ·         Working towards chartered engineering status with an appropriate body

     Product/Sector Knowledge

    ·         Minerals and/or

    ·         Oil & Gas

     Experience/Skills Required:

    ·         Passion for Delivering Operational Change

    ·         Ability to generate engagement within our Divisions and across the ENAR region

    ·         Pragmatic approach and business value focus

    ·         Tech savvy and comfortable working with and using new software tools

    ·         Excellent project management skills

    ·         Experience in writing and delivering concise communications on complex matters to senior exec level

    ·         Positive team-oriented, tenacious, hands-on and operations-focused attitude
